Phone photos often arrive on their side or mirrored. Drop the picture below, pick the version that looks right, and get a corrected copy made on your device.
1
Drag a JPG, PNG or WebP onto the box above, or click Choose Files. One photo is turned at a time.
2
The assistant opens with your photo shown 5 ways: Rotate left, Rotate right, Upside down, Mirror and Flip vertically, next to the photo as it is. Each version shows its new width and height.
3
Tap the version you want and the turned copy appears with a download button. The original file is not changed.
A camera that guessed wrong, a page scanned sideways or a selfie that reads backwards: each is fixed with a quarter turn, a half turn or a mirror. Seeing every result on your own photo makes the right one obvious, with no guessing which way is left.
The photo turns in exact quarter turns, so its pixels are moved rather than resampled: a turn to the side swaps the width and the height, and nothing is cropped or stretched. You can also ask for a turn and a mirror together, such as “rotate it right and mirror it”.
Turning by a few degrees to level a horizon is not offered; only quarter turns and flips are. Everything happens in your browser, the photo is not uploaded, and a JPG, PNG or WebP is saved in its own format, without hidden details such as the location.
No. The rotator turns photos in quarter turns only, and mirrors or flips them. To tidy up a slightly tilted shot, crop away the uneven edges with the image cropper instead.
Barely. The picture is turned without resizing, but a JPG is saved again at a high quality, so it goes through one more round of compression. A PNG loses nothing.
Mirror swaps left and right, the way a selfie camera shows you. Flip vertically swaps the top and the bottom, like a reflection in water.
No. It works in a modern web browser on a computer or a phone, with no account to create, nothing to install and no watermark on the result.
No. Every result is saved as a new file, and the file you dropped stays exactly as it was.
